 Originally from Massapequa, NY, Billy Sahner is an Eastcoast based singer-songwriter who performs with Nashville based artists as well as performing his own material. Billy’s brand of alternative country pop is peppered with a Tex Mex flavor, rollicking guitar playing and is just plain good fun. Billy says his musical influences include the Mavericks, Beatles and Steve Miller. I also pick up touches of Vince Gill and a rockabilly style busting out here and there. Billy says of his music, “There are certain vocal harmony textures from Steve Miller records like "Rockin' Me Baby" and "Jungle Love" that often find their way into my stuff.
Billy’s songs and musical influences showcase his sense of humor. This is a man who enjoys life and you can get a sense of how much fun he is having making his brand of music.
